A Message from Sandy Chilton, Director of CDC North
Welcome to the Del Valle ISD Child Development Center North!
My name is Sandy Chilton, and I am honored to serve as Director of CDC North. With 19 years in education, including over a decade as a pre-K and kindergarten teacher, I am deeply passionate about early childhood. These early years are where the foundation for lifelong learning begins, and I believe every child deserves a joyful, safe, and nurturing start.
At CDC North, we focus on the whole child. Through play, exploration, and strong relationships, our students build confidence, curiosity, and a love of learning. We believe in the power of connection and community. Families, teachers, and staff all work together to create an environment where every child can thrive.
I was born and raised in Laredo, Texas, and bring my culture, bilingual background, and love for early learning into everything I do. I am committed to building a school community that celebrates diversity, honors each child’s unique strengths, and supports our amazing educators.
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband, exploring new places, and searching for the perfect taco.
Whether you are a parent, staff member, or community partner, I am excited to work with you to make CDC North a place where little learners grow and big dreams take root.
With joy,
Sandy Chilton
