Deleasha Meier, Child Development Center - South Director

Deleasha Meier is honored to be introduced as the Director for Del Valle South Child Development Center. She currently holds a Director’s Certification from Elite Educational Enterprise and brings over a decade of childcare experience. She grew up in Fredericksburg, Texas where she managed group homes and day habilitation programs for children and adults with disabilities. Deleasha is the proud recipient of the 2022 Texas Licensed Childcare Association Mr. Gene Little Director of the Year award.

Deleasha’s areas of expertise and experience encompass Special Education, Curriculum Coordination, and Program Directing. She has a true passion for working with young learners and believe that all children are unique. Philanthropy is particularly important to her because it provides opportunities and giving back to the community.

Personally, Deleasha proficient in American Sign language and feel blessed to be able to teach my 10-year-old and 1-year-old sons ASL. She has a love for the University of Texas where you can find her most weekends at sporting events and her favorite pastime is crafting and reading.

I am excited and honored to have the opportunity to lead a school in a District with such a rich tradition both in and out of the classroom. At South CDC we believe that it is important for our students to be connected to school through positive relationship and a strong sense of community. As a Parent first, I believe that every student should live with the attitude that “Every Day Counts” making every moment meaningful and worthwhile. South CDC is a place where exceptional teaching and learning is the norm and I am truly honored to watch as we begin Building Magical Futures for our littlest of learners.
